    The Law Office of Alexander Socia, P.A. is a debt collection law firm. The bulk of my practice revolves around the collection of debt, creditor rights and commercial litigation.

     However, it's been my experience that clients usually need help with more than one legal issue. So, I don't limit my knowledge of the law.

     Whether your legal matter involves a debt collection, commercial litigation, past due accounts, or some other legal issue you need to deal with, I am here to help. Its my goal to focus on your legal needs and use my best efforts to help you achieve a successful resolution.

     I am a sole practitioner but technological advances provide me with the resources that you would expect only from a large law firm. These resources help me to act as the zealous advocate you need on your side.


    Generally, my practice is limited to South Florida. I like meeting my clients face to face.

     There are exceptions however. Clients from other states often ask me to collect delinquent debts for them in the state of Florida.

    Typically, I don't meet personally with these clients. They will send the claim information to my office via U.S. mail, fax, email or online submission using the commercial collections claim form.

    Once I receive the claim information, I review and analyze it for its collection potential. I then submit an agency agreement to you, for your review and signature. Submit your claim now!

 
    Unlike collection agencies or other debt collectors, being a lawyer I have the ability to pursue your debtors in court. And I will do so if an amicable resolution can't be reached.

    Debtors are more responsive to communications from collection attorneys because they know we have the ability to file suit to enforce your rights. Collection lawyers are legally empowered to enforce collection through a variety of legal remedies.

    Don't let my motto mislead you into thinking that I am not aggressive and persistent. I am. But I refuse to use intimidation and threatening tactics to enforce collection.

    Its my business to get you the money you earned. But I won't compromise my professionalism or your company's reputation in doing so.


    Should the debtor not respond to pre-litigation efforts to pay the debt, I have other collection means at my disposal. Being an attorney, I have the ability to file suit to protect your interests and obtain your money.
   
    I handle claims throughout all phases of the collection process. From initial demand via letter and phone contact, to filing suit and enforcement of judgments.


   It is my practice to keep my clients as informed as possible throughout all phases of the collection process. I also encourage clients to contact me should they have a question or just want a general update on the status of their claim.
